The specialty of the steel:

T7 steel has good toughness and hardness, but poor cutting ability; it is mostly used to manufacture tools that require greater toughness and a certain hardness but do not require very high cutting ability.

Main uses:

It is suitable for making various tools that are subject to vibration and impact, and have relatively high toughness under moderate hardness, but do not require high cutting speed. It can also be used to make mechanical parts that are subject to impact, wear resistance, and do not require high toughness, such as rods, pins, springs, etc.
